Major Door Remodel & Re-Framing Project/Install

There were (4) doors involved in this major re-framing and remodel project. ACM had to cut in the openings and install a 20" Steel-I-Beam header with adjustable lally columns that ran to the block floor after being filled in to support the new (4) Panel 19' wide bi-parting sliding door going into the new opening.  ACM had to consult a structural engineer by submitting our drawings and plans for the stamp/seal of approval on the appropriate header type based on height and width dimensions of the application with the floor above.  All necessary/required building permits were filed by ACM and passed the final inspection before ACM completed the installation.  On the top/second floor, ACM re-framed the existing adjoining openings to accommodate (2) equal sized larger 9' wide  2-panel sliders.  ACM also replaced (1) standard 6' 2-Panel sliding door in an existing opening within the guest room.  Contractor coming back to finish the interior drywall and paint.
