Project Description
Project was for the replacement of (8) windows in a Widow's Peak area of water front home in Sparrows Point/Middle River area of Baltimore. The existing Pella windows were leaking, rotting, and installed improperly for the application. ACM tore out the existing units and frames, replaced the rotted sheathing/OSB, taped/flashed the openings, installed sill panning for water diversion out, trimmed the exterior, and caulked everything properly to seal off. Customer opted for the natural wood interior (factory clear coated) option available within the Marvin Elevate window line to match up with the overall aesthetic inside, while also providing the Ultrex/Fiberglass maintenance free exterior. Project required the use of a 40' Man lift to complete the exterior repair & finish work as there was no exterior access.
